I'd only tried matcha at cafes before, so having five different grades to whisk up at home feels like a mini tea course. Each one froths up beautifully, and it's been fun figuring out which I like best for lattes versus straight with hot water.
The sampler is a great way to compare five different grades side by side without committing to a big tin. I whisked up the ceremonial one first and the froth was impressively thick, plus the little pouches are perfect for testing what suits your taste.
I was worried five little pouches wouldn't last, but each one whips up a surprisingly frothy cup that's become my afternoon ritual. The powder dissolves clean with just a bamboo whisk and no clumps, which is more than I can say for the last tin I tried.
