I was skeptical about the beetroot but it really does steep into this bright pink cup, which my kids get a kick out of every morning. The almond slices make it feel almost like a snack, and a kilo bag lasts me ages.
The apple bits and cinnamon make this taste like a cozy fall drink, and I didn't expect it to actually turn bright pink in the cup. A full kilo sounds like a lot, but I've already gone through half of it just making a pot every evening.
I was worried a whole kilo would be too much, but I've been steeping this every night and the apple and cinnamon make it taste like dessert. The almond slices actually stay crunchy in the bag too.
