The yerba mate gives a smoother lift than coffee and I don't crash by lunch. The Earl Grey flavor is subtle enough that it doesn't taste like I'm drinking perfume. Two cups before 10am and I'm set.
I swapped my second coffee for this and the afternoon slump is basically gone now. The earl grey flavor is noticeable but doesn't fight the yerba mate, which I was worried about. Steeps fine in a normal mug too.
The yerba mate gives a smooth lift without the jittery crash I get from coffee, and the bergamot keeps it from tasting too grassy. I've been sipping it around 2pm and it carries me straight through to dinner.
