The glass is thicker than I expected and handles boiling water without a crack. I mostly use the mesh infuser for loose green tea, but the other steeping option is handy when I want to keep the leaves out of my cup entirely.
Watching the leaves unfurl through the glass is oddly hypnotic, and the mesh infuser keeps every bit of leaf out of my cup. Swapping to the second steeping option was easier than I figured.
Watching the tea leaves swirl around in this thing is honestly half the reason I brew loose leaf now. The fine mesh infuser catches even the tiny bits, so no gritty last sip.
