Smooth enough to drink straight with just cold milk, no sugar needed. The Nishio sourcing really shows in how mellow it is, and it whisks up without clumps every time. Already halfway through the bag.
I was worried it'd be bitter like the cheap matcha I used to buy, but this one's genuinely smooth. It whisks up frothy in oat milk and the flavor is bold without any chalky aftertaste. Nishio sourcing really shows.
The color on this is that deep, almost neon green you only get from real Japanese matcha, not the dusty stuff. It whisks up smooth with zero bitterness, so I've been drinking it plain with just cold milk. Nishio sourcing actually shows in the taste.
