The bergamot still comes through bright and citrusy, but that creamy finish makes it feel like a treat instead of my usual plain Earl Grey. I've been drinking it without any milk because I don't want to cover up that smooth vanilla-ish note at the end. Genuinely the nicest cup I've had in months.
I was worried the cream would drown out the bergamot, but it's still that same bright citrus burst, just softened. Steeping it for about four minutes gives a cup that's smooth enough to drink without any milk.
