I was worried about the foaming, but the included bamboo whisk made it effortless — got a nice froth on my first try. All three matchas are smooth and none of them have that bitter, chalky taste I remember from cafe drinks.
The whisk has a nice weight to it and the three matchas let me compare flavors side by side, which made my first week of latte-making way less intimidating. I’ve already found my favorite of the trio and the bamboo scoop feels sturdy enough for daily use.
