The scoop holds exactly one perfect portion of matcha, so I stopped guessing and my lattes come out smooth every time now. The little spoon rests flat on the counter without tipping, which sounds minor until you've dealt with a messy powder-covered teaspoon.
The weight of this little scoop is what sold me — it's solid stainless steel, not flimsy like the plastic ones I've had. One leveled scoop gives me just the right amount of matcha for a single cup, no clumps.
Swapped my old bamboo scoop for this mini spoon and the difference is real — the matcha comes out of the tin without that clumpy mess. It's heavier than it looks, feels solid in the hand, and one spoonful is exactly right for my morning cup.
