The blackberry comes through so vividly it tastes like fresh fruit, not artificial syrup, and it blends into the matcha without any bitter aftertaste. I've been making it hot every afternoon and the berry sweetness actually balances the green tea perfectly.
I brewed this up iced the first morning I got it, and the blackberry comes through as genuinely ripe and sweet rather than artificial—the matcha itself stays smooth with no bitter bite. It’s become my afternoon pick-me-up when I need something fruity but still want that green tea kick.
The balance here is spot on—the blackberry doesn’t overpower the matcha’s grassy freshness, it just rounds it out. I’ve been mixing it with cold water each morning and the berry sweetness comes through without needing any extra sugar.
