Té de hibisco

The pineapple sweetness balances the hibiscus tartness perfectly, making it my go-to afternoon refreshment. I've already brewed two pitchers this week and it's just as good iced as it is hot.

The tangy hibiscus hits first and then the sweet pineapple sneaks in right after, which makes it way less one-note than other fruit teas I've tried. I've been brewing it hot in the morning and then pouring it over ice in the afternoon, and it works both ways.

I was worried the pineapple would make this too sweet, but it balances the hibiscus nicely. Steeped it hot for five minutes then poured it over ice, and it's become my afternoon drink instead of soda.
