I was worried the cardamom would overwhelm everything, but it's surprisingly balanced with the maple and cinnamon notes. Steeping it for about four minutes brings out a warm, toasty sweetness that actually tastes like the real thing.

The cardamom comes through warm and slightly sweet, way more balanced than the chai blends I used to buy. Steeped it about four minutes with a splash of oat milk and it genuinely tastes like the last bite of French toast.

I expected more of a pastry sweetness, but it drinks more like a spiced chai with cardamom front and center. Still, a splash of milk brings out the French toast thing pretty well, and it's become my morning cup.
